Stage Submissions

What We License

Emberwick Press acquires and licenses stage plays and musical theatre productions. We work with playwrights and composers to bring their work to theatres and schools around the world.

We are seeking

• Full-length plays (60–120 minutes)
• One-act plays
• Musicals (book, music, and lyrics)
• Plays for young audiences

We are looking for compelling stories with strong dramatic structure and commercial potential for schools, community theatres, and professional productions.

Submission Guidelines

Format

• Manuscripts should follow standard stage play format
• Include a title page with your name, contact information, and cast breakdown
• Submit as a .pdf file

What to Include

• A cover letter introducing yourself and the work
• A synopsis and character breakdown
• Production history (if any)
• The full script

Response Time

We aim to respond within 8–12 weeks. For musicals, please include a link to demo recordings if available.
