Emberwick Press is an independent fiction publisher based in Bloomington, Indiana, dedicated to bold, immersive storytelling. Founded in 2026 by Landon Parks, formerly Managing Editor at Maple Creek Press / Mythic Books for Young Readers and an elementary teacher, the press is committed to working with new and established creators to bring their stories to life.
We curate books with sharp pacing and worlds readers can get lost in, with a particular passion for Middle Grade and YA fiction. We are also actively acquiring high-concept, commercial adult fiction, especially horror, thriller, and romantasy.
