Steven L. Shrewsbury

Award-winning author STEVEN L. SHREWSBURY lives and works in rural central Illinois. He has had over twenty of his books published in the small press, such as KILLER OF GIANTS, PHILISTINE, and the BASTARDS trilogy with Stoker award winner Brian Keene. Recently, his story BRAN MAK MORN: RED WAVES OF SLAUGHTER appeared from TITAN BOOKS & Conan Properties (and will have a Solomon Kane tale next year from TITAN as well). He’s been nominated for the COSTIGAN fiction award from the Robert E. Howard society twice. His short work has also been in WEIRD TALES, BLACK DIADEMS, and SWORDS IN THE SHADOWS. His stories will appear this year in the magazines BATTLEBORN, TALES FROM THE MAGICIAN’S SKULL, and in the anthology I’LL KILL YOU LAST. Steven’s wife, Stacey, is a pilot for AMERICAN AIRLINES, and they have two sons, John and Aaron, plus a schnauzer and a freeloading cat. He enjoys books, history, grilling, and being outside. He still seeks brightness wherever it may hide.
